The Cherith Brook Food Pantry began in 1998 as a way to provide free food to community members in need. Today it serves as a place for families to receive food and the Love of Jesus Christ. Most of the items we distribute are received through the Central Missouri Food Bank. Local schools, clubs and businesses also give back to their community by hosting food drives that benefit CBFP. This ministry is made possible through dedicated volunteers who desire to serve their community.
General distribution is scheduled for the last Thursday of each month from 1 - 5pm. Senior citizens and those with disabilities may receive their food on the last Thursday of each month from 9am - 12pm. Home Health agencies may receive food on the Tuesday prior to general distribution from 7 - 8pm. During the holiday season, November and December we run on a special holiday schedule so please contact us if you have questions about distribution.
