We are so excited
that you have decided to read and find out more about
Family Life Fellowship. Here at FLF, we believe
God is moving us into a season and time of an open
heaven experience – an atmosphere where God
can move. As you read 2 Chronicles 5:11-6:33,
we discover how to create an open heaven and what
happens there.
How
to Create an Open Heaven
- Unity (2 Chronicles 5:13)
This means as a body of Christ we
are to come together as one heart, one mind, and
one vision. Just as in worship, every member
of the team must be playing and singing the same
part, the same melody, and the same key, in order
for it to be a song.
- Praise and Worship (5:13)
In God’s presence, praise and
worship is a must. In fact, how can you be
not praise him in His presence? He is all-powerful,
all-knowing, awe inspiring God!
- Make a Holy place for God to
come (6:2)
The church must be revered as a house
of God. It’s the place we come together
as a body to meet God corporately and worship him. How
Holy is that place – the place where we worship
God! Just as the temple and tabernacle was
ornately designed and maintained, we should want
to make the church a clean, aesthetically beautiful
place for God.
- Bring Generations Together (6:9)
Though David dreamed and planned
for the temple, it was his son, Solomon who actually
built it. It’s important to bring the
generations together to worship the Lord.
So when we have a body of
believers from all generations together as one
praising and worshiping the Lord in a revered place,
an atmosphere is created where God can move.
So what Happens when there
is an Open Heaven?
2 Chronicles 5:14 says that the cloud of God’s
glory came down, and the following were the results
that followed.
1. Prayers are Answered (6:20;
6:28-30)
2. Sins are Forgiven (6:26-27)
3. Unsaved People are Drawn to Salvation (6:33)
In
other words, when an Open Heaven is created – lives
are changed!
We pray that you will develop a heart
of love and worship for our Father God. The
vision to see lives changed in God’s presence
while worshipping Him is the heartbeat of our worship
team. May God’s love overtake you in
worship.
Be Blessed,
Sarah Hoffman
